Seth Ciabotti is the Chief Executive Officer of MSU Health Care, the multi-specialty academic medical system of Michigan State University – boasting three academic medical colleges and no hospital. MSU Health Care thrives in primary and specialty care with an array of ancillary services. 

A catalyst for change, Ciabotti excels at transforming large, complex health systems to create an exceptional consumer experience. Ciabotti incites a collaborative culture, bringing together natural and formal leaders from across the organization to compose committees dedicated to organizational advancement. Since 2019, Ciabotti has led MSU Health Care’s market share growth for inpatient and outpatient services locally and throughout the state.

Ciabotti inspires the transformation of health care delivery through collaborations with like-minded clinical partners. Since Ciabotti took the helm in 2019, his work with major hospital systems has expanded care in neuroscience, imaging, pediatrics, cardiovascular, ambulatory surgery, cancer and therapeutic infusion. 

Most notable, the long-term partnership with Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) offers tremendous opportunity to improve health care in Michigan and reduce health disparities throughout the state, beginning with the co-education of Medicare benefits. Ciabotti’s current initiatives to improve the health of Michigan include the expansion of remote patient monitoring, remote physical therapy, and employer based primary care.

Prior to his leadership role at MSU Health Care, Ciabotti was the vice president of ambulatory operations for Mount Sinai Health System in New York City.  Under his leadership, the faculty group increased market share growth through acquisitions, standardization, joint ventures, and strategic business planning. Ciabotti brought several new initiatives to Mount Sinai Health System during his tenure, including a Patient Access Center, EPIC Cadence/Resolute implementation with self-check-in kiosks and robotic processing automation. The Patient Access Center won two awards from the Patient Access Collaborative, a prestigious invite-only consortium of 80+ academic medical centers. 

As vice president of Transformation, Charity Bennett leads HAP’s transformation office, ensuring the organization remains nimble and able to innovatively respond to the ever-changing needs of HAP’s members, customers, providers and the health care industry. She is driving collaboration across the payer and providers to improve health outcomes, remove consumer pain points and manage cost.

Charity loves being a key catalyst for change. She has a demonstrated career track record of driving business performance through the design of optimal experiences across digital channels and customer-facing business functions. Her deep knowledge of technology platforms, innovative digital development and design thinking has allowed her to create solutions to solve consumer and business pain points, which is critical to HAP’s multifaceted approach to the member experience.

Prior to joining HAP, Charity spent 16 years at Spectrum Health system in Grand Rapids, where she held multiple leadership roles at both Priority Health (the payer) and Spectrum Health (the provider), including roles in marketing, IT and product development – all focused on consumer engagement. Prior to working at Spectrum Health, she was a consultant for six years.

Charity is a mother of five children, so managing chaos is a normal part of her life both personally and professionally. She leverages her agile project management skills at home with a Kanban chore board.

She volunteers with several organizations that take an active role in improving the lives of women and girls in third-world countries, and she loves mentoring young people. Charity is also a public speaker on grief and loss.

Lisa Prasad is Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer at the Henry Ford Health System (HFHS) in Detroit, Michigan. She leads Henry Ford Innovations, a unit that positions HFHS to adapt to the rapidly changing world of technology and consumer-impacted health care. Lisa is responsible for leveraging the System’s intellectual and clinical assets through technology commercialization, venture funding, product development, and corporate partnerships. In this role she also oversees the Davidson Entrepreneurship Program, Henry Ford Health System’s licensing of international hospitals in Asia and the Middle East, and the Global Technology Development Program to identify cutting edge health care technologies in Israel and position them for co-development and launch into the U.S. healthcare market.

Previously Lisa was co-founder and President of a commercial development and advisory firm focused on investment around universities and hospitals. Her expertise was in creating strategies designed to leverage an institution’s intellectual and operational assets.

Lisa served as Associate Vice President at the University of Pennsylvania and, before that, the Chief of Staff to Penn’s Executive Vice President. She came to the University of Pennsylvania from the Coopers & Lybrand Higher Education Consulting Practice in New York City where she led a team of consultants providing advisory services to colleges and universities. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and her Master’s degrees in Government Administration and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
