In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform next-generation sequencing library preparation for quality control according to defined protocols.
  • Analyzes data and information for quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Communicates with all levels of peers and management to ensure detailed information transfer as well as open communication and teamwork.
  • Adheres to all departmental protocols, rules, contamination controls, and safety procedures.
  • Understands and complies with the ISO13485 requirements.
  • Performs routine maintenance on equipment and participates in laboratory cleanliness and organization.
  • Identifies, in an effective manner, the need for documentation/process changes, process deviations, product non-conformances and other occurrences that can indicate the ineffectiveness of the quality and/or manufacturing systems.


The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s with 3 years’ industry or academic experience or Master’s degree in life sciences or chemistry.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment including multichannel pipettes, repeating pipettes, and centrifuges.
  • Experience handling enzymes, DNA and RNA.


It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Familiar with Next Generation Sequencing technologies.
  • Experience with computers, Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 or ability to adhere strictly to defined protocols and procedures.
