DUES AND MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

MichBio memberships fall into two categories - Core and Premium. Core membership rates for organizations are based on the number of worldwide employees, with special rates available for Emerging Companies and K-12 Education School/Academy.


Core memberships for individuals are available for professionals not associated with an organization, Educators from K-12 Schools, and Students from non-member College/Universities.


Premium memberships range in value and are eligible for additional benefits based on the membership level. Full member benefits by member type and level can be viewed in the Benefit Summary.

Individual Core Membership Levels

  • Student

    $35


    Single person, college or university student at a nonmember institution.

  • Educator

    $60


    Single person, educator at a K-12 nonmember institution.

  • In-Transition Industry Professional

    $200


    Single person, not part of any company, institute, or organization. Cannot be used as an organization membership even if the organization has only one employee.

Organization Core Membership Levels

  • K-12 School or Academy

    $200


    Any school or academy that provides K-12 education. Colleges and Universities are eligible for membership based on their organization size as defined below.

  • Emerging Company

    $200


    Founded within the past two (2) years; Five (5) employees or less; and, has not been a member of MichBio previously. Eligible for two (2) years.

  • Standard Company Membership

    $425   1-5 worldwide employees

    $650   6-19 worldwide employees

    $1,000   20-49 worldwide employees

    $1,450   50-99 worldwide employees

    $2,200   100-249 worldwide employees

    $3,000   250-499 worldwide employees

    $4,000   500+ worldwide employees
