Michigan lead the development of the first-ever biosciences industry strategic growth plan in partnership with Business Leaders for Michigan and the Michigan University Research Corridor, highlighted in a special edition of BioMatters® magazine.

Those strategies rely on engaged leadership with a long-term commitment, supportive public policy, and effective public-private partnerships. The major tenants of the strategies are outlined below.
